My cousin is getting married in Mexico this July and while we cannot attend (boo!) my parents are going and I have already placed my "goodies" order with them! Because they cannot bring me back what I would really want, authentic salsa, guacamole or enchiladas, by default at the top of my list is some authentic talavera pottery. I love talavera...so pretty, so bright, so much fun! I am not looking for anything big, just a few mugs, a platter or pitcher, maybe. We have been gifted some small pieces over the years from au pairs (from Mexico) and various family members and I just love how different each piece is, how they brighten a space and add a story.
